Heartache.

...So I would have had him leave,
So I would have had her stand and grieve,
So he would have left
As the soul leaves the body torn and bruised
As the mind deserts the body it has used
I should find
Some way incomparably light and deft
Some way we both should understand,
Simple and faithless as a smile and a shake of the hand...

  I know that my Redeemer lives,
       and that in the end he will stand upon the earth.

  And after my skin has been destroyed,
       yet in my flesh I will see God;

  I myself will see him
       with my own eyes—I, and not another.
       How my heart yearns within me!

"If you say, 'How we will hound him,
       since the root of the trouble lies in him, '

   you should fear the sword yourselves;
       for wrath will bring punishment by the sword,
       and then you will know that there is judgment."

Job 19:25-29

The other day at work two Tibetan monks walked in. I knew they were Tibetan monks because they were wearing sandals and marigold saris. Also, they were wearing bright yellow zip-up hoodies over their robes. Pretty awesome.

[Are Tibetan monks Buddhist? Why am I so uneducated? Can anyone reccommend an informative, non-deadly Intro-to-Religion book?]
